I always put a return address on. Truth is i've been using a book of 45 cent stamps for a while  (I rarely mail something) Nothing ever came back! Just realized this morning that its 46

Once upon a time...I had an acquaintance who used to never put stamps on.

He would put the destination address as the return address and send w/o a stamp on it. The PO would automatically send "back" to the return address, which is where he wanted it to go...
....maybe one reason why the Postal Service is dying

Next time just use a highlighter were the stamp should go.

On the other hand, I have bunch of old stamps lying around at home and whenever I use it, I can never get the exact amount.  So I always ended up using the stamp value that is more than I am supposed to use.
