It's similar to that with a lot of retailers.
When people "just return" stuff to bed bath and beyond, who do you think pays?
u do realize these massive stores and companies ask for people to return the items. i personally was forced by a bed bath and beyond employee to take my blankets to "try" them at home... she said pls pls just take them and try them for as long as you want and if u dont like them return them whenever.
the same went for my stroller, i brought back a stroller which was legit broken, the guy said to me do you know how it happened bec the stroller company is seeing a lot of returns for this specific prob and they are trying to find a new solution. ( ub vista locking when closing snapped)
but then again, a small business like..... lets say tuvia's which is a local seforim store in monsey. lets say someone buys a cd and the case is cracked a bit, do you know the tremendous loss the owner takes bec ur fickoked in the mind and have to return a cd bec the case is broken?! be smart and yashrus and ull see u wont feel bad making a return on the right items
