check the site for more info, as far as i read the rules, if sharing between 2 AA members, there is only a 1 time $30- fee

Yup there is a cent per mile charge, in addition to the $30 charge.

I just received a private offer to share AA miles and get up to 30% bonus.  That means if I share 50k miles it says I will pay $550 for the sharing and then receive 15k bonus.  I don't understand, 15k is not 30% of 50k.  Did anyone else get this?  Does this type of transfer make sense?  To me 15k miles is not worth $550.  Please help me understand something I don't.  Thanks
