No kidding; I know what the current price is, but I want to know whether it has gone for cheaper in the past, and that I should wait around on a better deal.

I find it really useful to be able to take wide-angle shots, and this one allows 24mm, as opposed to 28 or 35.
I am buying a new camera to replace my SD900 - is the SD980 that much bigger?

Newegg had it for $199 3.5 months ago. If you're buying it from an authorized dealer for $205 I'd say you're getting a good price.

$205 is very cheap, I work for the biggest Photo Store in America and you are paying cheaper then th employee discount.

Can you recommend an excellent dslr that is not to difficult to learn - i want to be able to take the shots for my graphics myself. a photographer has been costing me about $300 a session.

My 2 recommendations for an easy to learn DSLR are Nikon D5000 & the Olympus E-620.
They are simple to use and they cost under $800 for 2 great lenses

1.  The T2I is a $100 more without even a good lens
2.  Its why more confusing to learn from
3.  If you are using it for graphics, the Canon colors are to dole

If it's between the Nikon and Olympus, I would definitely recommend the Nikon... (From experience with both...)
