If you have a Costco membership try booking through Costco travel. You can get the rates even if not logged in. I find them to be by far the cheapest.

The trip is mon thru Fri? I usually book a one day one way and then r/t. E.g. Monday-Tuesday JFK-CLE then Tuesday-Friday CLE-CLE. this way, u can use a national 12free coupon for the Tuesday rental and then find cheapest rate for CLE rental with any company

never used a code, going to Orlando for a week used a code A113400 by Avis and got a crazy cheap price, my question is if its safe? im going with the family and don't want to have problems at the counter asking for some evidence or something like that, anyone can explain the process? thanks
