You mean, if it "is closed", or it's really closed? Bec they might try to refund it to the card, and only if it doesn't go through, will they credit you another way. I don't know this as a fact, just suggesting what might happen.

Not saying its not true, but just because a CSR said something does not mean it is correct. And an absence of stating that it must be a single charge is not the same as stating it can be spread out.

True, but read the wording of the offer, it seems 100% accurate.
