They used to be affiliated with Piccolino in Lakewood. Now that they opened their own storefront I wonder if they split up.

ETA: The owners and employees are deeply religious (Orthodox Jewish) and they are completely out of contact on Friday nights/Saturdays, as well as for religious holidays. If you order during one of those times, there might be a communication delay.

Cool store BTW, they have a test area and even a SUV with a trunk to test out putting strollers in and out.

i know this really belongs in the stroller thread but since this is about the UBV anyway -
does anyone have opinion on the city select (as a double)? vs the UBV with a rumble seat b/c my 2 year old just wont go for staring at the back of another seat (tried it in BBB)

I have the UBV, the rumble seat isn't very practical (very cramped), and it doesn't fit with the bassinet... Don't know much about the City Select...

Rafi wanted nothing to do with the rumble seat in BBB but we call it the Rafi Train, made up a song for it, give him a book and snacks in it and now he loves it.

And I've got the $$$ saved in my pocket.  Definitely worth trying for anyone who owns an UB.

I ended up buying the city select with second seat in bed bath and I brought a screenshot of PPB cart.
They started saying that PPB isn't a competitor, it's an online company, etc. - I told her it's a real store, but then she said that she anyway can either do a price match or use a coupon so it'll be the same 20% off.
$670 at 20% off = $536
plus I bought it with gift cards that I had bought with my amex at Lowes/Shoprite, effectively giving me another 20% off
total out of pocket $428.80 + tax
(and of course free shipping, BBB return policy, etc.)

Want to buy an Uppababy Vista, wondering if I should buy it off Amazon with the discount gift cards.

1) Is it worth it to just buy from Bed Bath for their return/overall item protection as opposed to the cheaper price on Amazon (but without BBD service if anything breaks)?

2) Would the stroller be covered with Amex return protection if only part of the total charge was paid for with an Amex?
