Better off with pom travel meals and staying anywhere in the world.

I agree and have done that at all inclusive resorts before. However, there is something to be said about not having to worry about food and being wined and dined like all the other guests, not to mention having a shul with a possibility for a minyan over shabbos.

Great Trip report, Joesol.

Just to clarify was the Kosher food option $99/day/pp in additional to what you paid for the villa or did it include the villa's?

If so how much did you pay per night for the villa?
We paid around 15-1600 for a week (even though we didn't stay the week) and $99/day per person. Prices usually dont include the all inclusive rate.

Thanks. There is really a beauty to not packaging food and worrying about it. You dont have to go back to your room each time you want to eat. Its also nice to eat unlimited and knowing that its paid for already. It seems like I went at a very mild time in regards the minyan. There were apparently about 250 people last year for Pesach.

Wait. It's $1500 + $99/person/day?
$200/day for food (+taxes??). You'll have much better food with pomegranate for less.

It's an all inclusive hotel. You pay one price for everything

I didn't think that you could get one of those villas with kosher for only $99/day. If you could it would be a great deal. Too bad. I was hoping you were right.

With the Pom travel meals I would guess you need an oven to heat it up. Doesn't look like the labriut "meals" that you mix some magic potion and only half of the "food" get hot.

You can tell pom when you want each meal. They'll print it on each meal with heating instructions and the hotel can heat it up and serve it to you anywhere.

Far cheaper, far better, far more flexible.

Joe,  so it cost you 15-1600 just for the stay and an additional $99/ppd for the food?

I thought it was all inclusive?

Yes but the villa had 3 bedrooms and the price doesnt go up per person. They have 6 and 7 bedroom villas as well for not much more.
