It's back, but it's $38 per room or $19 per person. Once again, not sure if this will include Kosher options, but it doesn't say anything that it excludes Kosher food. I am sure there is the possibility of booking and forcing them to honor it... Who is going to give it a shot? There are certain restrictions:

    Superior Room - Extravaganza Sale
    Ocean World Not Included
    4 Night Minimum Stay
    7 Night Maximum Stay
Free Access to VIP Beach and Parties
    Travel: September 1 - November 15

Bookable on Cheap Caribbean: http://www.cheapcaribbean.com/landing-pages/4854.html

Any recent trip reports? Are there things to keep kids busy for a week? It seems like you can't reach the hotel, only go through an agent? I want to know if I can have a group booking and have a private room for our Shabbos meals.

Does anyone else have experience with the kosher meals? Stayed over shabbos? I would like to hear more how the food was and how the shabbos meals worked out.

Good idea. Not sure if that's the one. But I heard not such great reviews about a hotel with a kosher restaurant and a minyan in the Caribbean.

Hope this helps

Im a Shareholder Member for the resort. The way it works is there are a bunch of different rooms and Villas. The grounds are huge, there are around 15 different pools, 7 different beach areas, and 15 different restaurants. 1 of these restaurants are KOSHER. There is a fulltime Mashgiach on premises, run under the OK. They have a room that is dedicated to a shul. so far i have been down there 3 different times. First time the food was terrific (was 10 people total), second time there were over 1000 people on winter recces and it wasn't as good, third time was just my wife and I and was unbelievable. The chef will cater to what you like, its all you can eat 3 meals a day. Breakfast they usually will make you whatever type of omlet you want, with a dish of either french toast/ pancakes/ ect. On my 3rd visit i had steak every night. I believe the Non Kosher Rate is $50 a day per person, and Kosher rate is $100 a day per person. But because you can get a great rate on the room it make it a great deal.

You get a band when you arrive, depending on where/ who you book through you get:

Yellow Band- Access to 30% off the resort
Blue Band - Access to 50% off the resort
Gold Band- Access to 95% off the resort
Black Band- Access to 100% off the resort (only for shareholders)

Room rates vary depending on the room.
Rooms are as follows:

Tropical Building- the cheapest and lowest tear of the buildings
Confressi Building- A regular room, nothing special
Confressi Beach - Same room but on the beach
1/2 Bedroom Suites- Like a small apartment, moderately furnished
Royal Suites- This can come as a 1 Bedroom Studio, a 1 BR Suite, or a 2 BR Suite. - Very nice!
Presidential Suites. This can come as a 1 Bedroom Studio, a 1 BR Suite, or a 2 BR Suite. - This is similar to the Royal Suites but is right near the Kosher restaurant.
Villas- Range anywhere from 3-7BR- Some of these Villas can be comparable to 10 million Dollar Homes- absolutely gorgeous...others arent nearly as nice but definitely get the job done.   Each Villa has its own Kitchen, backyard and Pool.

Please note that even though the suites and villas have a kitchen you still MUST pay for a food package when you go.

I have sent many friends and family members and they all had a great time.

There are 2 airports in the area POP (25 min) and STI ( 1 hour and 15 min)

Direct flights to POP are
Jetblue- JFK
United- EWR
AA- Miami

STI has a  bunch.

I can get free transportation from either of the 2 airports. If you are interested then please PM me.

What are the room rates? What does it cost to be a shareholder?

He said above it's an extra $100 per person per day for kosher food.

Do we need a passport or is a license / birth certificate enough?

Whoever travels must have a passport for all intl flights. You can fly delta to sti, or AA from Miami to pop
