My wife bakes 5lb of challa weekly without any issues in the plastic bowl, using the included dough hook. Never once had a problem, she even makes 5lb of 100% whole wheat dough which is a much stickier consistency.

Whats crazy, is that I never ever see electronics in israel cheaper than the US. Except the bosch, its regularly around $200 equivalent in shekel. I got mine for 780 shekels last year. Same exact one just 220v.
