You can't get this credit doing AA GCs?

Opps. I tried the CHFF-M with AA (by booking a mileage award within 3 weeks and canceling a short while later). I see the pending $75 charge on my card, and I canceled the ticket. But the site is telling me that there's a $150 fee to redeposit the miles and to call AA.

What did I do wrong? And what should I do now?

What does a short while later mean?

I booked at around 4:30pm, I got the confirmation at 5:38, and canceled at 6:15. All today.

Thanks!

So is there a PGGM using expedite fees? Book with mileage and expedite fees, cancel within 24 hr?
Well it ain't called PGGM, but I've done it that way, yes.
Anyone want to fill in?

Chated with Amex and was told i have an additional $100 airline credit on my just-opened MB Plat.

2 questions:

1. Anyone have success bumping it up to $200/$500?

2. Is this a one time credit or is it annual?
Did you ask off its from now, or only from March?

After endless time on hold with AA, they won't waive the fee to redeposit the miles and they won't waive the expedite fee, but they will let me change the dates (which is their normal policy, IIRC). I have a flight planned for the same cities that I was going to use Avios for, but I'll just use this award instead and salvage something. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Amex told me I can use the credit at any time.

Amex told me I can use the credit at any time.
AMEX rep told me the opposite, and read it out of the disclosure.

Hi, I did get $200 credited for this year (2014) by doing PGGM. Also, I have got the email about extra $200 AA/US credit..

Can I also get Extra $200 in Amex airline credit for AA and US? Could anyone please confirm?

If so, could anyone point me to a procedure link to get the AA/US $200 credit. Thank you.

Ya I just got it too.
Looks like we'll get $400 in airline incidentals this year but big negative losing AA club access :(

Delta next?

Even with these investments, we occasionally hear that overcrowding can be an issue. To maintain the Club's exclusive atmosphere, the following changes are being introduced:
Effective immediately, membership price is $695 annually. This Executive Membership will continue to allow two complimentary guests.

For those customers who rarely need guest access, an Individual Membership at the current rate of $450 will be introduced Spring 2014. This membership will allow guest access for $29 per visit.

Beginning May 1, 2014, all customers who receive complimentary Delta Sky Club access as a benefit of their eligible credit or charge card will no longer receive complimentary guest access. A $29 fee per guest will apply.
If you are an existing Club member, you now have an Executive Membership for the duration of your current membership agreement.

$695 for SkyClub access? Was in JFK last week, wasn't a bit food.... And drinks (except water) is charged...

How will the lounge know if you have the Executive card or the regular one? We know that when they swipe they can't see anything...... It will probably say on the card something, this being said, for us that we cancel in the 60 days we wont hesitate applying for the Executive one.....
You can say what you think when you think what you say.
