FREE Avery Binders from Staples w/rebate!

I bought item #436626, which is "Avery HeavyDuty View Binder with One Touch EZD Rings Black". I submitted the rebate online, and I got an email back from Staples saying there are no rebate offers associated with this order #. What did I do wrong?

I got the same email, I don't think we did anything wrong, I think their system is messed up. I submitted a question about this to them using this link

theres a long discussion abt this on slickdeals. ppl had success getting rebates validated thru chatting but even then was invalidated afterward and if ur trying to use many skus for a large rebate they were only crediting 2. seems tho that whatevers wrong with their system is still being sorted out...

I called them and they took care of it manually. They said it was a mistake on their end sounds like they knew about it.

I finally heard back from them and they told me there was a problem with their system, a quote from their email is below

My apologies for the inconvenience in regards to your rebate status. The online order had some issues while verifying the products and this is the reason why it was denied but also automatically corrected to valid. It is already in process and your $8.49 postcard check and $37.00 Visa Prepaid card will be mailed within the next 15 days.

This deal is back again this week. 

Last time the limit was 4 per color (32 total).. .   Not sure what the limits are this time. 

Eta: I'm refering to the instore deal.  I just noticed the OP is talking about online.
