I had 3 in an Avalon, which is very spacious.  Also had fairly large carseats.  Not sure what would fit in a camry or like-size car.

My concern is also the fact that if the infant cries my wife or myself wouldn't be able to sit in the back with him to calm him down. Has this been an issue for anyone?

Same problem when an 11 year old sits in between the 2 carseats.

Let's say his oldest is 3 or 4or even 5. You can't expect the kid to always be able to comfort the crying baby.

With two car seats in the back of an Accord it was a tight squeeze to sit between. No way a 3rd seat would have fit.

Are these 3 full size carseats? Or are any in boosters?  I recently bought a very narrow booster for about $35 on amazon. Very happy with it.

I have 2 Chiccos in my Altima and there's no way a 3rd anything could possibly fit in.  Even a skinny person would have a hard time sitting there.
Nor does it even have a 3rd LATCH.

Minivan is definitely the way to go, so gosh darn practical. Ody can easily fit 3 in the middle row and you have enough trunk space for everything.
