How long did it take in your shul?

We used the priority lane.

I don't mind slow prayers, but just laylaylaylaylay w/o words isn't for me.

Honestly even at just 4 hours, 15 minutes it felt like there was too much shlepping, I don't know what in the world they do in shuls to possibly take 8 hours?

5:20am till 12:45pm ( a few hundred people)

with a 40 min walk before and after to get to the Netz Minyan woke up at 4am hit the sack at 11:30pm

20 min break for Kiddush a couple pieces of cake and a cup of coffee

you are opening a can of worms which i will not get into much detail. i will say this though:
Davening at 770 has begun at 10am for the past 60+ years. This in the minyan of the Lubavitcher Rebbe Zt"l.
If it was good for him then its good for me....
(It is obviously not meant for the guy who strolls into shul at 10. Hodu begins at 10, but the hachono to daven (learning chasidus and on shabbos mevorchim saying the whole tehillim etc) begins way earlier)
