+1 there Yom kippur break must be 4 hours!
this is pretty fast even compared to other chabad Shul’s, mine finished about 2:30-3:00.
Yom kippur about two hour break depends on the year.

That sounds slow to me. Do you have slow chazanim or what takes that much time?

Obviously no need for a break. Would be interesting to compare a Chabad Machzor to ours to see the differences.

IINM Chabad is the only Ashkenazi sect that doesn't skip anything in the machzor. It just doesn't have a lot of the extras in the first place.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

What do you mean, it's the Chabad press that skipped those? ;)

770 davening times this year?

IINM ended around 2:45 on the first day. 2:30 second day. But I could be off by up to 10 minutes, didn't check the clock at the exact time.

Ask @jj1000 he seems to be the expert on cutting out parts.

The truth is that with finishing 2:45 like in 770 then it isn't suppose to be any cuts at all, some nusach changes can make up that difference.

That is very easy when you print your own machzor.

Most people afaik don't say the whole machzor. If so why do they print everything in machzorim? I still have no idea how people decide which piyutim to say (and remember which ones too). I heard that anything that wasn't composed by r Eleazar hakalir people don't say?

The yekkes say a lot. IINM in Vien shuls they say Marrovis.

I don't think this even makes sense, so much that he didn't compose. Did you ever hear of anyone skipping ונתנה תוקף?

בחסידות צאנז סיימו את התפילות ביום א' דראש השנה בשעה 18:25, וביום השני בשעה 18:05.

Trying to understand what I'm missing? How does davening end at 6+?

Is there a seuda?

No seuda. There's a short break for kiddush and then back for Mincha.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Hu? There is a chiyuv to wash and make a seuda. Even those who finish very late are making a (late quick) seuda of course.

We don't skip anything in the machzor, but then there are things that are not printed in the machzor..

There are also things upon which we don't need @jj1000 to wield an axe, we have הגבלה עצמית (which IMHO is a core part of Yiddishkeit and Chassidus).

The yekke Machzor actually has less than the regular one, but they just say all of it. Same for Yom Tov.

the gerrer rebbe was once asked by a chassid, "there are so many things in the machzor we don't say. Why don't we just print a new machzor that only includes what we say?" He responded, " And take away the Simcha a Yid gets when he skips a page of davening?"
