This is random but wanted to share with the oylam - I tried a scotch called monkey shoulder and it was delicious - very impressed. Anyone else ever have it?
Yep, for a scotch it's pretty decent.

For the record, I hate Glenlivet (highly overrated IMO).
The only time I appreciated GL was this past shabbos at a kiddush where all they had was Monkey Shoulder and GL.

Glenlivet 12 is good for what you pay for it.

Favorite bourbon is Gentleman Jack

Wrong again. I'll take morangie any day and it's usually cheaper.
Or Glengoyne.

I was referring to Glenmorangie the original. Usually same or a few bucks cheaper than livet.

P.S. $35 these days at Eber's Liquor Store in Crown Heights, been this price for about 6 months.
As a bonus, this past Sunday I picked up a new bottle there and it came with a free gift - a Glenmorangie bag tag...

Does the "oilem" out here drink Macallan, or better to refrain ?

I received a very nice bottle as a "krazmich" gift and can't even take it back home
with me due to the no liquid allowance on the planes..

Go to a liquor store and trade it in, if you don't want it. Then ship the replacement home.
