Is it worth it to schlep back in a suitcase?
Maybe don't post it publicly here; it's probably illegal.
Only illegal if you plan on re-selling it. For personal use it's fine (except for in PA).
Legal for a store to sell alcohol across state lines?
isnt this a canadian store subject to ca law except as far as customs go
You're getting me confused. I was just asking if the savings justifies the bother of schlepping glass bottles around and making a special trip to the store in LA. Apparently it's worth it. That's all I was asking.
I just realized he was talking about Canada, not California. That's what happens when you don't drink...
Hitimewine.net is a good place to order from located in California, I believe this and a few other places are mentioned up threadEta: seems mission liquor is better pricing for sure on scotches Not sure about shipping though. ..
Mission liqueur from CA has decent prices, but you need to buy a couple of bottles for the shipping to be cheaperhttps://www.missionliquor.com/product/bulleit-bourbon-750ml/5198
anyone know if the shipping goes down if i order more from this place? anyone interested in ordering together with me and well split the cost of shipping?
I have an unopened bottle of 1792 thats been sitting on my shelf for quite some time. It's a Shaila of Chometz she'avar alav ha'pesach if it was made after 2009. There's no real way for me to find out. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Give it to a non-Jew as a holiday gift and be done with it. If it was a valuable bottle is another story. But that's just me.
Ya i was gonna do that. don't know who to give it to yet though. All my neighbors are irreligious jews.
