They are all solid. Personal preference- Basil, makers (rather 46), then woodford
Thanks. What's your opinion on Bookers and Michters?

Dont recall ever having michters. Bookers is heavy bourbon, not for an everyday casual drink

Just received my order from masterofmalt.com. Shipping arrived as scheduled. Bottles were packed very nicely in bubble wrap. Shipped with fedex.
Bottles are 70CL not 750ML so they are a little smaller- but the pricing is well worth it.

I found several of their bottles are significantly cheaper than found in NY/NJ stores.

Their shipping price is ridiculous.

Glen Elgin 12 Year Old         $42.39
Glen Grant 18 Year Old Rare Edition      $116.22
Glen Scotia 15 Year Old         $58.67
Inchmurrin 19 Year Old 1996 (cask 33) (Signatory)   $47.47

Not just for me- 3 people total.
They have some bottles which get the whole order free shipping. the bunnahabin 33 did that. I thought if we spend $300 on shipping, why not get a cool bottle and free shipping.

I find the 15 to have too much of an oaky taste that hides the fruit and carameliness of it.

Has anyone here tried the Tormore?

Don't get Hibiki, its not good. If you want good Japanese stuff get Yamazaki

Yamazaki 12 - very very oaky.
Not a fan of Japanese whiskey based on that one plus Hibiki, plus Nikka.

Fiddich IMO, I'm very much not a fan of the founders reserve.

I vote Livet FR.
Just curious. Would you take the founders reserve over the livet 12?

I would. I find the FR to be a softer drink. I prefer the fiddich 12 over both though.
