has anyone been successful making an order on third base shipping to ny?
Need your LG Exalt fixed? Cracked in half? Water damage? Or parts to repair yourself. 347.201.2501
I picked up these three bottles at duty free while I know the blue Glenlivet Founders reserve is ok as it's on the CRC list, but these other two after doing a bit of research I'm not quite sure about them, has anyone bought any of these two in the past? Or is there anyone that would say these are fine?
The Distillers Reserve says ex-sherry casks. AYLOR if it's an issue.
I see right away that the Select Cask says that it was aged in wine casks and therefore would not be eligible to be on the CRC list.
But also says that it used 3 types of casks.
AYLOR if it's an issue.
The funny thing about this is that it's not really a question for the rav, it's a question for the whiskey making experts, the problem is that they can't seem to agree on what exactly the wine casks are doing to the whiskey.
-100000000000It is a question for a Rov who will likely consult with someone who knows the facts.
Obviously it's up to the rav to pasken whether it's a problem or not, my point was that when the even the whiskey experts can't agree on the facts, it makes it very hard to come to a psak based on facts.
Then the rov will give a psak based on that situation.
That is the situation, most people don't know that though.
Ex-sherry casks is exactly what the kashrus problem is.
Any rov worth his beans would figure that out if the knowledge is truly needed.
