Thanks for posting!
This is the cheapest I have ever seen! (The few wines that I looked at.)
Price is ok if you factor shipping and tax which can sometimes be avoided ..

Edit
https://idrinkkosher.com/shipping/

Shipping can be avoided and and or almost free

Of course shipping kills it.
but when I'm in that area I'll definitely stock up.

How can tax be avoided?

So classy to find a non kosher bottle on a website like that.

Case in point: Sazerac rye.
This is the subject of a major halachik debate, you definitely shouldn't go around calling speaking that way about them.

That being said, you definitely shouldn't assume something fits your standards because the website has the word kosher in it.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

There are a few heimish wine stores in brooklyn that sell non-kosher fyi. The rye you mentioned i believe its AYLOR

I know that heimish stores sell it and others in the category of companies owned and operated by jews who specifically don't sell their chometz. That does not mean they are permitted or that we are permitted to consume chametz shavar.... For those that do not know I am referring under the company sazarc or bufulo trace (besides the one that says KOSHER on it) which each include dozens of brands. I never herd of a any OR that permits this, can you please share the name of one?

PSA: not interested in a halachik debate just a name. DMs welcome.

The psak I received was muttar b'shas hadechak. Shas hadechak includes if you already own it or if you're at an event and that's what they have.

Chametz She'avar is a knas that applies to the seller who owned it over Pesach. It applies downstream to all other retailers (if owned by a Jewish manufacturer or wholesaler).

While I can understand psak that says that if you bought it without knowing that it was Chametz She'avar its OK because of hefsed merubah, what would be the rationale for allowing you to drink it "if you're at an event and that's what they have." You did not buy it and you are suffering no financial loss by not drinking it.

I don't remember a marei makom, but I believe there are poskim who disagree with this statement.

I don't remember a marei makom, but I believe there are poskim who disagree with this statement.

This is the reason that there is a problem buying in non-Jewish owned stores in certain markets after Pesach. In Baltimore you can't buy chametz from Target because the wholesaler is Jewish owned and they owned the chametz over Pesach. In NY the OK got involved and prepared a shtar mechirah for C&S (a major grocery wholesaler) because they are Jewish owned.

This was also the reason that a few years back people could not buy certain beer brands after Pesach in many markets because Manhattan Beer (a major beer distributor) was Jewish owned. - https://crownheights.info/chabad-news/636900/large-beer-distributor-sells-chametz-for-second-year/

1) The מגן האלף (unlike the M"b) holds that there is no din of חמץ שעבר עליו הפסח by a non religious Jew since he wouldn't keep Pesach anyways.

2) It is far from clear that distilled liquor is Chometz. While on Pesach it is potentially a דאורייתא and we are for sure machmir, after Pesach the issur is at most Derbanen and the פני יהושע was matir for that reason in extenuating circumstances

The psak was not necessarily because of hefsed merubah.

I believe it's something along these lines. I was also told that the main reason people who don't sell chametz do sell whisky is because it's not chametz gamur, it's ze'as chametz.
