Sunrise: 7:53am
Sunset: 5:11pm

Optimal photography time:
7-9:30am
3:30-7pm

IMO best would be 5 Jan, LGA-CLE, 08:25-10:05 - 6 Jan, CLE-LGA, 7:50am-9:30am. That way we have most of the day there, including a sunset.
Sounds good to me!
The Sheraton CLE Airport is $213 with tax or 4K SPG points. Not a bad value for your SPG and you're a 30 second shuttle or 3 minute walk from the terminal.  Without bags you can roll out of the hotel at 7:20 and be fine.

Would be very interested. Are P&S welcome? Almost took the bait on the DSLR on Amazon the other day but I got too many toys recently.

Everything's welcome :). Just understand that you'll be limited with what you could do.

Wiki added. Please update your name if it isn't accurate (Marco Polo's post for example was very ambiguous).

Any chance of getting there in style?

You said "everything" not "everyone". :P
But I'll take it as a yes.

But I'll take it as a yes.

The original question I was answering was "are P&S welcome", so yes, it's everything and everyone.  :D

That be great! Thanks.

I also think we should keep it to 8 people maximum - makes everything simpler. What to you guys think?
