Using miles / points to pay for hotel

I want to book Prima Palace in Jerusalem using miles or points. What would be the best ones to use to get the best deal?

Technically there are ways.  Using Thank you points, using airline points for hotels etc.

I ended up booking with booking.com for the best rate I found, and will use Capital One "Purchase Eraser" to pay with miles.

Sounds like a good way to get rid of those Capital One points.

            You're not still using the Capitol One card, are you? Chances are it's not in your best interest.

Depending on what you use your rewards for you are probably better off using another card.

I don't travel much, so I usually sell my miles/points. But now these Capital One points came to very good use, because I knew which hotel I wanted to go to, and was able to get just that, instead of going through the pain of taking only what's available with the points I have.

You're earning 2ppd and you sell em at 1cpp?

How much are you spending a year?

I earn alot of Amex points, and sell them for 1.5% and Chase for 1.7%. I use the cards for business expenses.
