Well, in the spirit of the forum, take food out of the lounge and resell to the stranded pax with no lounge access ;D

Ben Gurion Airport employees decided to unload luggage from all of the airplanes that landed on Monday despite continuing a general strike.

In addition, airplanes that were scheduled to fly to Uman in Ukraine to bring back Bresalv Hassidim pilgrims will be allowed to depart.

And as usual:

Hundreds of Breslav Hassidim returning to Israel from Ukraine caused upheaval at the airport when they could not get their luggage because of the strike .

The Hassidim, returning from a pilgrimage to the grave of Rabbi Nahman of Breslav in the Ukranian city of Uman, yelled, played drums and sang. Some of them caused damage to the baggage claim conveyor belt.

Police were called to the scene, but no arrests were reported.

So Dansdeals has a reporter reporting live from the scene. nice!
By the way, dont count on your flight taking of very soon, even if the strike ends, The crew has a certain amount of time, that they are allowed to work. If they boarded the aircraft allready and are waiting, then that counts. Since I doubt AC has a backup crew in TLV, they will prob. have to rest another night, so that they are allowed to work.

That lounge is fairly spartan, just drinks primarily.  I don't think anything else is mehadrin.

Good luck, keep us posted on the strike status.

What an utterly horribly mean time to strike...

seems COs Sun 84 arrived Mon morn 19 mins early, it turns right around as COs Mon 85 which left 90 mins late, COs Sun 90 arrived 9 mins early Mon afternoon

so it cant be all that bad , dont know the sit with the bags or could be they are letting the real long haul flights operate or at least those that were already in the air, but they did let CO 85 fly out at noon TLV time

I understood that and was only pointing out that CO 85 left TLV Mon morn @ 11:55am instead of 10:25am when it was suppose to, so by Noon flights were flying again. Now I would hope that CO left with its Cargo and passenger bags as well

i was on co 85 which took off 1.5 hours late (as well as around 2 hours circling due to bad weather in ewr). so it was kinda useful that i was in the reconfigured bizfirst seat.  they announced before takeoff that the bags would not make the flight and gave the option to get off the plane. they let all baby carriages onto the plane (stowed them in the closets etc) we're here in ny with no more than the clothes on our backs. hopefully the amex baggage insurance i pay $10 for will give me something
