I wonder how many kosher meals are consumed in the F lounge by passenger who are on a paid ticket.
LOL. Last asian kosher airline meal that I consumed, gave me food poisoning. (PVG catered onto CO PVG-EWR)

Just chilling in the sun next to our walled-in private pool here in Khao Lak, Thailand  8)
There were ants in our villa and they forgot to bring us fruit for breakfast so they're comping us massages later today and refunding most of the room upgrade fee.

Never had a massage before...any reccomendations?
Thai massage?
Swiss massage?
Warm-stone massage?

If in thailand, I would go for lx-massage ;D

I only had thai neck/shoulder, and foot massage.

This foot one was way better.

They say the Thai massages are very rough and aren't recommended for first-timers.
I think we'll do the warm stone massage.

Take the hot stone massage, make sure its not warm stone but hot stone. Never heard of warm stone. Make sure they dont offer you a special upgrade ;-)

We just did the hot stone massage and it was incredible!
Worth every cent ;D ;)

The massage is normally $200 per couple.  At $0 though I enjoyed it that much more. :)

If you can enter in BKK in the thai F lounge (some other airlines F are also allowed), get the foot massage. Besides for being free, its also an excellent massage, go for it.

Not flying F into or out of BKK.

Things have been much better than expected IMHO. We should appreciate that Dan takes time from his (well deserved) vacation to keep things in check.

Oh. I forgot that you were Dan's policeman here while he was gone, on a number of occasions. :D :D ;)

Yes it's true that I also agree that things have been better than expected, and I truly appreciate it. But nevertheless, since you have been doing such a good job, I wish he would've designated you or whoever to have had access to the main site to post deals, as well as to check and post the comments that people post on the main site as they come in, and not many hours later when Dan gets internet access.

Just to give an example: Lets say the Expedia crazy offer from a month ago came up today, and lets just say that after a couple of hours, Dan actually gets word of it and posts it on the main site like he did then. Now, on a normal basis, the main site gets flooded with comments, (actually it was hundreds last time), and many of them are quite helpful in giving others ideas what to do. Those comments are generally updated by the minute as they come in, and people have the opportunity to read them and still have time to chap arein with the offer before it's pulled. Now picture that if it happened today, where even if Dan had access to post the deal, we still wouldn't have the updated comments on a hour by hour basis, since he probably wouldn't want to waste a whole day on vacation sifting through comments as they come in, nor should he while he's on vacation with his wife. And as experience shows, the comments on the forums are far less than on the main site, and basically people would be submitting comments on the main site, but it wouldn't be posting for 8 hours, when the deal could possibly be over or out of dates.

Therefore im suggesting, that since this site has grown tremendously since I first signed up here, that Dan should seriously consider taking my advise, and possibly finding someone to have administrative powers while he's away for long stretches.

Am I taking this well out of proportion, or do some of you somewhat agree with me? ;D ;D

What should I say?
That I set aside time to work on the site every day because I knew I couldn't do nothing for a month?
That I bought an expensive usb data card so I can even update the site while on remote islands?  That I approve comments even when I go to the bathroom in middle of the night because nighttime is peak time in the US?

Some people will appreciate it and others will never be satisfied, that's life I suppose.

Anyway I was able to nab an earlier CX flight from HKG on Wednesday that will eliminate the overnight connection in Toronto so I'll actually be home Wednesday night.  But man convincing AA to change a stopover to a connection on a OnwWorld ticket is an absolute bear!

Dan, I understand and appreciate all of above. All im saying, instead of you having to do all of the above while on vacation, you should possibly look into somebody else helping you out, for your own good while on vacation as well as for those who check your website on a daily basis.
I think I did bring up a valid point with my expedia example, what do you say to that?

I wasn't referring to you, just wanted to hear what other people think.

(I definitely think people take it all for granted, just my opinion...)

People do help me out, AsherO and many forum members post and send me good deals, and I definitely appreciate that.
And I can always take off moderation on a deal if I feel the need.  I won't write that moderation is off for obvious reasons, but that's not hard to do.

Ok. I just wanted you to be on board with me, that should an expedia type deal come up while you're away, that the comments should be able to be posted right away, and not only when you wake up in the middle of the night... ;D
