Has TD always charged an ATM fee on their student checking account?
I know it's a late answer but I believe you need a minimum of $2500 in the account to not be charged the fee.

ATM & Forex fees in Israel
« Reply #208 on: April 23, 2015, 06:10:24 AM »
I just tried taking out money from a leumi ATM with my crapital one debit card and it ate up my card with no explanation. I've used that ATM many times with that card in the past with no problems.
And everything is closed today. Will leumi give me a hard time giving me back my card? And I need an alternative to crapital one. I seriously can't stand them anymore. So many problems.

I only use it because I don't need a minimum in my account, no forex and I get reimbursed up to $25 a month in ATM fees.
Did leumi give a hard time giving back the card?

If you go there with your passport, I can't see them giving you a problem.  Just be there first thing tomorrow morning (if they're open on fri, otherwise on sun) to be sure to catch it before they send it to the main branch.

Which banks have you actually tried yourself? For me Pagi and BOJ have not worked. Leumi and Poalim are fine.

Capital One 360 still good for no ATM fees in Israel?  Does it only work at specific banks? TIA

Even though the card has a certain ATM withdrawal limit the ATMs in Israel allow less generally, correct?
