Although it seems hit or miss if places will take them.

I have found that their exchange rate is inferior to the others so essentially you get hit with a sort of hidden fee of around 1%.

I was referring to the area where you're going to open the account. Do you need for others to be able to deposit money in to your account?

Schwab bank lets you do mobile deposit and provides postage-paid envelopes.

But Chase Private Client is your best bet if you can get it.

Same from a PC. As long as you prevent them from tracking you to outside the USA then it should work. (VPN, Teamviewer, etc.)

Apparently Capital One 360 no longer allows PC check deposits even from within the USA. Now you can only use a US based smartphone.
Anyone else come across this issue?

I just tried it from a computer located inside the US using Teamviewer. The option for "image upload" was missing. All that came up for deposits was a link for their mobile app.
