Ordinary day in the neighborhood
« on: December 10, 2013, 11:15:12 AM »
So besides for meeting thresholds and signup bonuses, what do people spend on to accumulate points to enjoy life? is it all VR? GC?

If you are not applying, or meeting a threshold, what would you do today or on any other ordinary day to achieve your goals?

You could daven a little longer and learn some Torah.

Agree, add Jewish before neighborhood.  :)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Take it up with your PM. I didn't call him "one of the greatest leaders".

It earns miles to the olam ha'emes.
Though I can't find availability in first or business class.

Reminds me of a very rich (a multi-millionaire) but stingy man in my community who changed his tzava'ah to be buried in Israel not here in the states.
His son asked him why the change, he said he just noticed he still has unused miles in his Matmid account and can't afford to just let it expire.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

Start useless threads?
If you don't care why would you comment?

Meshugener, we don't serve Hashem for points. :)

We serve Hashem to give Him nachas. The points are just incidental and come on their own when we do what we need to be doing.
