4G: Welcome to NY!
« on: September 15, 2010, 01:58:24 AM »
I am happy to report that after about 2-3 months of having kept my 4G reception on on my htc EVO, this week I finally started noticing that I am getting 4G speeds in certain parts of Brooklyn, NY.
Didn't do a speed test yet... but I definitely feel the difference when on 4G, it's really really fast!

Why not? Speed test takes about 10 sec, maybe even faster on the evo ;)

Sprint is majority owner of Clear and Sprint 4G is usually available one month after Clearwire

It ain't official until Sprint announces it. They may wait until there is adeqaute coverage in the outer boroughs to announce it.
