When Google gave these I am fairly certain the Terms said no selling. Unless this has changed, I dont believe you can legally sell or buy them.

Google doesn't have that legal right. That's why they stopped enforcing it. Search the web for "first sale doctrine"

I got an invite in email, to purchase for $1500, is it worth it? (I know its based on if I can afford it) Meaning, is it as amazing as they say?

Right here it's Amazing  :P
nah but it is a lot of fun nothing revolutionary in the way that it cant do anything that my phone cant but is pretty awesome and garners tons of attention if you don't mind/are into that sort of stuff as chances are you will be the first guy on the block to have it.
maybe I'll post a lengthier review some other time.
