I have a dream, I hope we can bring this to reality.

I think its about time to make order of the Up In The Air Thread. So much useful info in there and so hard to utilize them.

How about we organize it in a way similar to FT - have sub-forum for each alliance and sub-divide the alliance forums into separate boards for each airline.

Wouls look something like that:
Star Alliance
United
Avianca
Lufthansa
Turkish
EgyptAir
Air China
Swiss
Etc.

One World
American
Cathay Pacific
Qantas
British
Air Berlin
Iberia
Etihad
Etc

SkyTeam
Delta
China Southern
Korean Air
KLM
Saudi
Air France
Etc

Non Aligned
El Al
Alaska
Jet Blue
Hawaiian
Emirates
Southwest
Etc

It will be a huge help for us looking up for specific info on a airline and also give the forum an organized look.

I believe if a lot of members express interest in it, the admins will definitely consider doing it.

I've looked into sub categories for SMF and it doesn't seem to exist.

I haven't really worked with SMF in over five years, but I seem to remember having used subforums back then...

How many (legit / non-duplicate) topics do you have already about the southwest credit card?
One? Two?
Major overkill to make a whole sub forum just for that.

In other words it essentially is that already. A master thread and sub categories are superfluous. You need either one or the other. Not both.
