How do you know that you have the exact shade?

That's why I'm using find format from cell, shouldn't it match it exactly?

You copied it from another file, so how do you know that the color you are selecting on the find/replace is the same color as on the sheet. Maybe the sheet is a custom color etc.

I have 12345 in the first cell. I want every cell under it to increment 1 each time. Easiest way to do it? I need thousands.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Select A1. Click the Home tab, click Fill, click Series. Select Series In: Columns. Keep the Step Value at 1 and set the Stop Value to the number that you want to end with. Click OK.

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

If the first cell is A1, then B1 would be =A1+1. Then select B1 and you'll see a tiny box in the bottom right of the cell. Drag that down as far as you want.

Choose either 'rows' or 'columns' until you get the result you want. Otherwise if you select just that column it should work either way.

Works both ways but to go down the cell with the formula would be A2 and you would write =A1+1

The Stop Value needs to be the max value you want. So if you want 100 numbers, your stop value is 12445.

Over here it's not running at all since the stop value is lower than your start value.

(I made this same mistake a few times)

For a series of even 20 cash flows from a non compounding loan payments (p&I)every two weeks, xirr is giving very different results then IRR*20

Is xirr giving the effective yield which is incorrect here because it's simple interest?
