LH F is phenomenal and I'd rather have the ground service in FRA or MUC than the SQ suite on a flight that isn't that long to begin with, especially if it's going to cost me more points. (Although LH YQ will pretty much wash out most of the points savings.)

Can book on Avianca for no YQ.

Save your points and book J on such a short flight, or do LH F.
Agree, unless it's your only chance to experience SQ R in the foreseeable future.

Does first name on Hertz Car Rental need to match in order to credit miles to SQ?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

So how can you tell which one it is if its newer or older,  anyway to look this up online?

F has fewer seats on the new one. Search on DDMS for the exact numbers.

Cross-posting here, with hopes (though realistically I think it's more fake news) that this might actually be materializing.

Walla News reporting that SQ is exploring a route to TLV, quoting unnamed sources that SQ is exploring a contract for hotel accommodations in TLV for its crews.

Wouldn't a hotel contract be the last thing on their minds?

Wow. You are actually exhibiting more intelligence that is expected from the average Israeli reader (which is why @Dan correctly stated that Israeli media outlets are the originators of Fake News before it was cool to report fake news).
