KF expire within 3 years of depositing them or of redeposit in case a wait-listed seat doesn't clear?

Also - I read about 18 months if no activity. Is that confirmed and furthermore what is "no activity" and how can this be avoided if no flight is booked?

When you waitlist a flight, no miles are debited from your account, so if it doesn't clear, it's not a "reposit".

IST, ZRH, FRA, EWR

Depends what you value 22.5k UA/UR at.
UA is 80k no YQ. SQ is 57.5k + YQ.

250 cash for 22.5 ua is fair value imho when faced with paying out of pocket

If I book a flight at Standard award level and then Saver award opens later on, would I be able to switch to Saver and get the difference in miles refunded?

I know that you can’t book a Standard or Full award on a flight and then waitlist yourself for a Saver award on that same flight.

For your scenario I'd assume (never assume) that you'd pay the $30 to cancel the ticket and could then snag the Saver award.

Can't assume. Need someone with experience in this specific scenario.
