Thanks that's what I thought.

Called 5 times already. They don't see availability. Only when I told them to search just the TLV-EWR they see it. But no one so far is willing to try to piece it together for me.

If I was they sure didn't mention it or even hesitate. Then again the lounge is quite dead at 3:15am. The weird thing is they came to me to invite me to TPR. Either way I'm really happy it worked out.

You gotta do all the research and do the work for them but then they can totally book mixed cabins (but I believe the whole ticket is at the higher rate)

You must get off the plane with your bags and reclear security. It doesn't show as a stop because it's a direct flight. You will get one boarding pass, unless--like me--you are in two different seats, one per leg.

im thinking of booking a Bus flight with UA out of GB/Ireland and only 1 airport has Saver Award right now. If the Saver Award opens up at a better airport to my actual trip location, I would want to rebook to that one. Would it better (I saw that the price,, 57.5k miles for flight from Europe is the same as United) to book with SQ or UA in terms of tax, fees, and (theoretical) rebooking cost? TIA

Incorrect.

UA = 57.5k
SQ = 65k

Taxes are the same. SQ has cheaper change fees than UA.

oop musta been looking at the other chart (for SQ metal).

what r the change fees for SQ? i haggled with UA before to get the fees down. gotta be significantly lower to pay an 2x7.5k miles (me and wife).

so outside of fees, are there some sweet spots for UA flights that are less miles than when purchased direct from UA?
