So I saw United Saver availability on my dates on the UA website for a Flight EWR-BRU-TLV but Singapore says they dont see availability from their end.

How can I check that the UA Saver actually has Singapore Availability.  Why couldnt i book with Singapore miles?

Try to HUCA and ask them to check each segment separately.

Just ensure the space is available to partners (search on AC) not just to Singapore's own members

Got an email from Singapore Airlines today:

Major Points:
  • No more Full awards- anyone that has previously booked a full award will be refunded to standard award.
  • Premium Y is available for award bookings
  • No more upgrades from Y to J where Premium Y is available
  • Europe Zone Changes

We're excited to announce that you may redeem your KrisFlyer miles for Saver Award flights in Premium Economy Class, starting 24 May 2016.

And from 1 June 2016, you will also be able to redeem a one-cabin upgrade from Economy Class to Premium Economy Class, or from Premium Economy Class to Business Class, on aircraft fitted with Premium Economy Class seats.

Premium Economy Class features new seats designed to provide more comfort plus thoughtful touches to enhance your inflight experience - from 13.3" HD touchscreens to additional meal and beverage options and more. With Premium Economy Class now available on more aircraft and routes, you can enjoy this new way to fly to your favourite destinations.

In addition, to simplify our Award Chart structure, we will be removing Full Awards and combining Europe (zones 11 and 12) into a single zone. For more information, and for the latest award and upgrade charts, please click Here.

This actually all sounds like good news although I wonder if the catch is that since there are no more full awards that they will just have less total availability?

Maybe I missed something or it's different because I'm looking at flights actually on SQ leaving the West Coast to Asia but they looked the same to me.

I'll explain my comment.

It's all mostly good news (the fact that almost nothing is changing), except the fact that Europe 1 rates are being combined into Europe 2.

This could've been so much worse (as is the case with every other airline deval we've seen recently).

its only showing up as like $44 in YQ for me.
are you referring to a J or Y cabin?
I think you're confusing YQ and APD

I'm looking at J. You're correct, I'm looking at all taxes and fees but even just YQ I'm seeing ~$108.

Can't speak for TK but I've gotten them to hold UA and A3 for me. CMIIW, but I think that they can hold any airline, but most reps are just reluctant to do it. Gotta HUCA a few times.

Thanx, I knew about UA, although per reports UA can cancel the hold anytime.
