Should be 57.5k not 67.5k.
that makes more sense. I couldn't understand him well, he also had never heard of tel aviv before. so vs. 80K on united we're talking about 2.3 cents a UR point. more reasonable, but still not an easy sell. Am I missing anything?

Yeah Lufthansa fuel fees are crazy.  Too bad b/c they have the best routing to TLV via FRA from Denver but same like you, the fuel fees are about $800 dollars!  BTW, if you are just transferring MR points, ANA is the best to TLV at 65k RT in Y and 104k RT in J.

To waitlist SQ flight, I need to have the appropriate mileage in my account ?
I found the answer, after searching, that I need it.
Question is, if I waitlist SQ, FRA-NYC, after the miles post, and then go ahead and book LH, TLV-FRA-NYC F, for 75K miles, leaving my account with zero miles, will the waitlist expire, or will it stay, and if it clears, I can call them to change it, and just pay the change fee ?

You need to have enough miles for the flight -with the highest amount of miles required- in your account.

It will eventually expire unless you ticket it. The successfully waitlisted FRA-NYC on SQ will have a new PNR. Thus, you'll have to redeposit the old award and hope you can add TLV-FRA to it.

They wouldn't be able to straightaway connect TLV-FRA to the FRA-NYC PNR, or will it require multiple hucas ?

They will not be able to "straight away connect TLV-FRA to the FRA-NYC" unless TLV-FRA is available.

I was asking based on the assumption that TLV-FRA is available. Will probably just stick to LH, and enjoy FCT. To big of a hassle to sleep over in FRA, to catch the SQ morning flight.

If it's available, then yes they can "straight away connect TLV-FRA to the FRA-NYC".

And this morning the TLV-FRA is gone. Now will have to take 2 flights to get there. So frustrating.

Check ANA.
EF, and ANA show nothing as well.
