SQ agent is telling me that they receive a different amount of OS award space than UA does (i.e. less). Found I class seats on UA.com and she says they don't have it. Any truth to this or HUCA?

Possibility phantom, check ANA.

You're right- it isn't showing up on ANA.

Is it a risk to book 2 people other than myself in LH F out of my SQ account?

Isn't that what nominees are for?

Thanks, I just searched SQ nominees. I didn't know what they were, because I've never looked to make an SQ redemption for someone else before.

Had that several times and was always wondering how that is. Can anyone explain this? Do they give different award classes for different alliance partners?

It's usually phantom availability.

So, are you trying to say that it wouldn't be available on UA either? Well, I did successfully book it there.

Not sure if this played a role but I've found the Singapore is much stricter with routing and also for that reason I haven't been able to do certain bookings that we easily book able with United.

Question for anyone who flew JFK-FRA-SIN on SQ25: when the plane lands in FRA for the close to 2 hour stop do you get off the plane or stay on?

Did they change the star airlines award chart recently? i'm being told by a rep that their award chart online is outdated?

am trying to book ow LED-IST-TBS in biz class and am being quoted 57.5K miles, when the award chart between Europe to Middle-East shows 25K miles?

Booked the following itinerary for two:
EWR-CDG-FCO-EWR-LAX-LIH for 55k pp, open jaw with stopover in EWR for 6 months.

I was charged the following and I want to make sure it adds up: 96.49*2 for taxes + 8.99*2 for Hawaii leg (agent said he won't charge me miles, instead cash)
Due to scheduling, I had to change the ticket twice. I got charged 20.84*2 the change fee, and 21.73*2- originally I was leaving from Zurich and switched to Rome so agent said those are the Italian taxes. I was charged 20.01*2 for the next change which was a departure date change and city change and 5.63*2 in taxes for the city change.

Is there any way to dispute these charges? I also made some of them within 24 hours of booking.
Any experience with this?

If FRA-JFK isn't available online,  but SIN-FRA-JFK is, can I call to have them book the FRA-JFK leg or will it only be available as part of a married segment?

I booked a similar itinerary and then called them back and asked them to remove the first leg, in your case SIN-FRA
