Can you book a economy award ticket and waitlist for first or buisness [similar to United]?

Trying to avoid a $30 change fee which probably is impossible here?

Waitlist all the first and business class flights and then book economy.

No, you'll have to change your ticket if one of the waitlists clear but it won't be a big deal.

My point was, will the waitlist continue past t14, is it working off the economy ticket or it considers the waitlist a new request and cancels out?

Singapore and Aeroplan are NOT seeing this from UA EWR  DEN ANC, is this because of UA devaluation during Covid19?

No. It’s because it’s not a saver award.

I have a bunch of points that are expiring in October. Is Singapore not extending due to Corona? Dan does not mention any solution in his Mileage Expiration post–does that mean that there is NO way around it? Is there any other use of the points that is recommended?

Is there any chance that merely booking and cancelling an award reservation, as Dan mentioned in this DDF thread, will extend the miles?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Singapore responded to my email that they are extending miles expiring between April and December 2020 by six months.

Seems like a really active thread...

PSA - I just reached out to Singapore about the 46K miles that were originally supposed to expire in October and were extended until April. I won't be able to use them before then and asked for a further extension. They responded that they will be extending it again for another 6 months but that the extension won't show until the month of expiration.

I got through to them in under a half hour twice last night on the regular number.
