Got a call from the bank today asking me if I want to "renew" my overdraft protection since it "expired" on Aug. 15th. I slyly asked her why has it expired? that's when she tells me that its due to a new law.... I cut her off and said oh! so its illegal now (w/o permission, it didn't just expire)! Its amazing how bank are repackaging this OD to their favor.
And in Chase they forced me to give them info when I came to pay a CC so they can print out consent forms.
