If collage wants me to file taxes for back in2015 in order to be eligible.for FAFSA, would there be a penalty if I file? Or anything else to keep in mind?  I put on that I made 2500$ but my parents helped me cover everything

Looking to open a new LLC in NY - now I have to deal with the complete scam of the "publishing requirement".

Everywhere I read basically says there is no consequences for not filing for it - if I ever have to sue someone I can just go and file it then.

Thoughts?

Don’t the companies that set these up handle the publishing too?

I don’t know about other counties, but in Kings county there’s the Brooklyn Eagle which is basically made for legal notices (I’m not aware where one can purchase a copy, but you can find them all over the courthouses).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

What's the deal with school employees being able to have their Employer (school A) write a check for their child's Tuition directly to School B, in lieu of wages?
What's this provision called?
Is this only for educators or for all non-profits?

Without speaking to your specific case, in general you're referring to Section 117(d) qualified tuition reduction.

It actually cannot be in lieu of wages. Its a non-taxable fringe benefit.

Whenver I add a PO for an item, then copy it to my bill in quickbooks online, for some reason it doubles the quantity in inventory.

Anyone know why?

Found someone online having the same exact issue...

Create the PO.
Then from the vendor create bill from the PO.

I did this earlier today with no issues.

Does a business loss on a Corp. carry over a 100% to  the next year? i was told that it only carries after you profit a certain percent so if i lost 100k in 2017 and i made 100k in 2018 it will not be no gains (with this new law) i would only be able to take the 100k loss after i make 20k or so

First of all, this wouldn't apply for 2017 since the limitation is only imposed for use of NOLs generated after 1/1/18. Second, the limitation on the amount of NOLs that a corporation may deduct is equal to the lesser of the available NOL carryover or 80 percent of a taxpayer’s pre-NOL deduction taxable income.
