Is your DL legally valid or are you required to change it to NV? (nothing to do with the tax question but something you may want to check)
That horse has left the barn as you are required to change over within 30 days.  :)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Loosely translated as "he remains obligated for his entire life".

That can cause issues in the event of an accident since the license is technically invalid and therefore an unlicensed driver with invalid insurance.

That’s most newlyweds in Lakewood driving like that...
But thanks for providing the worst case scenario. It might help get things done.

There are rules.
exactly, the rule is which ever state you established domicile in. You can only be a resident of one state even if you live in two
that includes someone working and living in NYS and living in NJ on weekends.
Your case of the car being towed is strange,  i'm sure the count would like more details

Specifically for NJ, it seems anyone under 21 transferring a license needs to go through the whole permit and test process again, no?

Very simple. The driver was considered to be unlicensed because he was supposed to have switched his license to the state where he now lived. A car being driven by an unlicensed driver gets towed if there is no licensed driver to drive it.

How did the cop know where he/she lived?

Hello there -

I deposited pre tax money into my 401A for the first 6 months of the year.

Then I switched jobs to a private company and put in pretax money.

Is there a total I can put into both combined?

Is it still 19K?

I have a tax question in case someone can assist me:

I live and incorporated in IL. I used to collect the sale tax from Amazon sale and file with the state monthly. Starting  01/01/2020, Amazon collects and remits tax for the state of IL. What I should do now?

Thank you in advance!
My guess is that Amazon is saving you work.  Now you don’t need to file any sales tax - Amazon is doing it for you.
My favorite cause: cssy.org

You still need to file.
The question is if you file zero sales in IL or do you file the actual sales and list them as exempt.

Personally I have been doing the second option for another state that I have nexus in.

Even is amazon reports it, you have to look at your states filing requirements. If you don’t file at all you may be hit with non filing penalties.

Regarding w-4 step 2 B:

Am I estimating this years taxes based on last years income?

What if I am worked multiple jobs last year and this year I cutting back on some of them should I still include them in my estimate or only I am only giving a rough estimate on the jobs I plan on working this year?

i believe that if you pay estimated taxes based on last years income even if you end up being short there are no penalties but if you pay estimated taxes based on your projections and you projecy below last years income if you are more then a certain percent off you can owe penalties
