Printer/Fax Toners

Hi all,
any idea where can I find the best price for Toner's for a Printer or Fax? & should i go with the brand name (Brother HP ) or off brand is the same as good?

I usually find off brand on ebay much cheaper.

I've always been using off brand names and most of them work just as well and r half the price...

I always stick to brand ink/toner and my all in one canon ink-jet has been serving me well for over 5 years (not sure how common that is). I've found brand inks and toner bet. 30-50 % cheaper on ebay and Amazon marketplace which is where I by them.

Buy a quart of generic toner and refill for a small fraction of the cost of brand name.

Are you using inkjet or toner?

There are major quality and capacity differences  between between the non-OEM toners. Buying from eBay leaves you to risk of leaking underfilled toners so its really up to you.

I need it for a brother Laser printer/fax
when i looked on the Reviews on Costco.com they seem to write that you should stay away from the non-brands

while there might be some kits out there that let you do this. I would advise against this for laser printers. the toner isnt a liquid so it gets all over the place. databazaar has consistently good prices.

I have also found amazon to have the best prices many times. Our office has bought from ebay many times as well and it has always been good for us.

Just a warning to everyone about using generic ink: I had my Canon MP390 Multifunction since mid 2005 and never had a problem while using canon brand ink. Recently after seeing the price of the ink keep going up I decided to buy generic on eBay from a top rated seller. Well, last week the ink cart jammed and after spending 4 hours using every fix I can find, I'm on my way to buy a new multifunction.

In lakewood there`s a place called Toner World with free delivery. they sell both generic and OEM. 732-for-inks.

I am looking to get a color laser printer for my kids, they currently have a dell color printer and the ink finishes like once a month at a cost of 40 some dollars.

No personal experience with Color Laser printers, but I see B&H has theHP CP1215 Color LaserJet Printer for 154.99 which seems like a very good price for a color laser. No doubt you'll save a tone in ink costs with any laser printer over inkjet.
