Downgraded to 3.134.8 and turned off updates.
So much faster and easier on my phone.

Yes, very buggy. But I found some bugs that are good bugs too.
Play around with it and you'll see.

For some reason mine updated on its own.
The new version of the app on my phone takes a good few minutes to order a car vs 20 seconds on the old version.

Thought I would let everyone know of something I found out today about flat rates rides TO the airport which are usually excluded. I callled a car to go to LGA and since I needed to stop on the way I put the first address in the app. It took longer than expected for the driver to get here so when he was sill on his way I changed the address to LGA since I had no more time to stop on the way. Turns out I was charged like a regular flat rate ride as a result!

Anyone have any experience taking Uber from Lakewood to JFk? On the App the price I am getting is under 100. 1) will any driver actually take me, 2) will the price change drastically? For that price it is more convenient and not much more than parking and tolls.

You should call your driver as soon as he accepts the ride to give him heads up and see if he wants to cancel. Uber now has upfront pricing, you pay what you see. Contact them if you end up paying more for a refund. However, the price is ridiculously low, shows $62 right now, so I cannot say for sure.

Can you just make a new account with a new phone number?
