Referral codes are now only $15 for the person who uses it and the person who refers.
This is the only other alternative: https://www.uber.com/promo

Codes that start with "uber" are referral codes.

Only from what I've observed. Uber can limit a referral code, and that has been confirmed.

Do you know that you can open up the app and do an estimate for yourself?

New to uber.

Let's say i am in miami airport, at what point do i put through my order? Do i do it even while i am waiting for my suitcase, because it takes drivers time to get to the airport, or do i need to wait until i am at the exit doors? Also, do i actually speak to the driver to tell him exactly  where in the airport i am?

One more thing. If I am with my wife, and i want to make 2 stops, where i get off first, and then have the driver continue down for another 4 minutes to drop off my wife, which one of the 2 destinations, do i originally enter into the app, when i place  the order in miami airport? When doing so, do i need to leave my wife with my phone that i placed the order with, so she has it when the trip is over, or can i take my phone with me when i get off at stop 1?

Much thanks

I would call when I am at the exit door, as you do speak to the driver, so he knows exactly where you are and what you are wearing...to pick you up.

I would give him the further destination but it doesnt matter. Either way you dont need your phone with you to complete the payment, so the phone can get out before the ride is over.

Yes. Why would you though? IIRC, there's an extra fee that they charge you for splitting a fare.

If ur thinking what I'm thinking... If there's a promo code being used it won't let another account to split it with...

I've done that before. Though it was a while ago so maybe they've since changed their policies.
