Get ride credits on 2 separate accounts, then do split payment during the ride.

By doing that, you have to pay an extra base fare, right?

Don't think so. You should be able to sign out and on to different accounts.

I think I had misunderstood lulaby. I thought lulaby was saying to wait until the driver traveled far enough that the ride exceeds the first credit, then the driver should end the ride and you use the second account to hail a new Uber. If you were doing it that way, you could also use the same account to hail the second ride if you had two credits on one account. Either way, you would have to pay a new base fare for the second ride. Now I understand that lulaby meant to use the feature that allows two passengers to split the payment for a single ride, which does not help if the two credits you want to use are on a single account.

Actually you guys are all incorrect. You can not use the split-fare option for "free ride credits" - it will automatically charge your credit card(s) rather than use the credits. I've tried. You ask the driver to stop (as mentioned above) and end the ride, then request a new uber and pay another base fare. I wonder if Uber-pool would allow for it though...

New Uber Promotion in select cities - Take 3 UberBlack rides and get a $100 credit to Trunk Club. Details here: (http://blog.uber.com/trunk-club-march-23-2015)

Not sure how far $100 would get you with them, didn't see pricing on their site. I guess if you're taking Ubers anyways, it might be worth the premium to move up from X to Black for three rides, but with a $15 minimum ride, paying $45 to get $100 at Trunk Club probably wouldn't be a great deal for most people.

Unless someone else is paying for your rides...and it's between UberBlack and a different black car service.

But then you're not paying the $45 just for the $100 credit.

Of course if you're spending it anyways then the $100 is great, what I was saying was that spending $45 just to get a $100 Trunk Club credit is prob not such a good deal.

Happened to me yesterday:

Get into an Uber, he asks me where we are going and I tell him to go to the Airport. He says he cant do that bc he needs to head to work soon so he says he will cancel the ride and I should get a new one. I then get an email with a charge for $5 bc it was cancelled within minutes of ordering it. I just find it annoying that driver and customer seem to work off the same "cancel command". I would think that drivers should be able to cancel without that happening to the customer.

Whatever, Ill email them and most likely get the money credited. Rant over.

They don't want drivers to be able to cancel.

You pay for canceling a ride? I once ordered a car and saw that he was still making some rounds on the way to me so I canceled him, don't recall being charged

Depends on the time between requesting and cancelling. They tell you when you hit the cancel button that if it is within 5 min a charge might apply.
