Is it possible to have more than one Uber account? Is there a problem if they are on the same device? If this has been written about somewhere, where?
Thanks!

Yes, it is a problem, I have gotten my account blocked for having friends log onto my phone. I'm assuming that if I was referring myself they found out they would probably would have banned it.

In my case it was completely legal so they just ran a check and gave me access back. For your friend, was it against their T&C??

Refer people! For discounted rides in NYC I use Lyft's Line option. You can either have a one minute match or a ten minute match, the ten minute match is always discounted further and I so far only got matched twice with someone on longer trips. When I know I will need a car in about 15 minutes I use that option and I've paid as cheap as $22 for a Suburban from Soho to the Jewish areas of Queens (30 mins without traffic)! Another cool thing about Lyft line is that you get premium cars much more often than with Uber. Finally Lyft seems to be more rewarding than Uber. I use both about 40 times a month and Uber just gives me VIP status in order for me to only get top rated drivers. Lyft on the other hand sends me promotions every month or so such as $8 or 50% off my next 5 rides!

just saying that everybody is getting those promotions from lyft, it has nothing to do with loyalty.

Anyone ever have the fair estimate be wayyyyyy off? Just estimated a ride, said it would be $25-35 and ended up being $65 (and there was zero traffic so that wasn't a factor). The distance portion of the charge was $44 alone so now idea how they estimated the full charge to be less than that. Anyone have this and have success fighting such a thing with uber?

Use the fare review option.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Use the fare review option.
As in under this specific trip, click on help and "had an issue with my fair?"

Uber didn't want to budge even after several back and forth emails. Disputed it with Amex and they immediately refunded me for the difference between the estimate and the final fair. Oh, how I love Amex.

Doesn't sound like a fair fare in this affair.

You won't get banned from Uber? (BTW I've never had a problem disputing a charge with chase. I don't get the obsession with amex.)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Why would I get banned?
