They guy was really nice and helpful, if he doesn't hit me with a fee, I'll tip well and give him 5 stars, if he does, well that would be an expensive ride.

Because he was a nice guy, and there (arguably) wasn't really any cleaning to do, although if he wanted to he could probably hit me with the fee.

That sucks. Won’t make much difference for orders up to $20 due to the lower delivery fees. That’s why it’s always a good idea to stock up on Uber GCs

 I'm finding lot of of ppl don't understand Ubers drop-off policy on pool. They force driver to take them to input destination.
 
As the joining passenger this is a sgnificant delay

I hate when they drop me off wherever & then proceed to drive right past my destination.
Or they drop me off elsewhere when there isn’t even any other passengers.

Why would they drop you off elsewhere if that's not the location you plugged in? I hope you a complain about such rides and don't pay.

Because that's the way uber pool works. They drop you off within walking distance of your destination, and on the way to next riders destination...

I've never had that, when I entered a destination, I've been driven into the complex parking lot at times when I selected Uber pool.

Because that's the way uber pool works. They drop you off within walking distance of your destination, and on the way to next riders destination...

My wife Uber pooled to FLL. Uber had the drop off side of the road, not in airport! Driver dropped her at the terminal. Just be careful!

Agree, they sometimes do senseless things, so I'll only do pool when the price is cheap enough to justify it. (Admittedly, not too often as I don't live in an area with pool availability).

Pool is best in a place with limited matches, such as Lakewood. Saves you money and you rarely get matched.
And in Miami where it gives you (or at least used to) give you almost half off. Once got a 30 minute ride for $10 with no match.

they can drop anyone off wherever they want. Just ask the driver to do it...
