It's indeed is a struggle, I have to sit by the table when my BIL next to me is eating away.... and is skinny as my finger, and if I take 1 slice of cake, I know not to visit the scale anytime soon. But as opposed to other diets this was my best choice. I am eating a 24 ounce steak for supper twice a week. Liver what ever way it's made. 3 Fried chicken cutlets (in nuts), as for Side dishes, my wife puts in a bag, oil, spices and Cauliflower, mixes them, then takes out the Cauliflower and bake it, It's delicious. She Frys a bag of cabbage in oil adds spices its yummy.
The diet I follow is not exactly Atkins. (this is what my diet guy told me)
And yes, you have to like protein in order to stay on this diet.
