BS, BS, BS, Its all what the Corrupted Federal agencies say, do a simple Google search And you will see what the real studies have to say.

I know Many people that went on this diet and their lipid panel are great including mine. ill post a pic soon of the results if ill have a chance.

It depends if someone stays on the low-carb part of the diet. Carb intake has to really be low in order for diet to work (in order to keep calorie intake down, and to keep ketotic effect in place).

Common sense says that any diet that is extreme, e.g. eat tons of fat and protein, but very few carbs, cannot be healthy for the human body in the long run. Just can't be.
So Atkins may be good for losing weight but don't confuse skinny with healthy!
For a diet that helps you lose weight but is totally healthy and will improve your overall health while you also lose weight, read "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman.
The gist of Fuhrman's diet is to eat foods that have a high nutrient-to-calorie ratio. I.e. eat foods that are packed with nutrients and relatively low in calories. Like beans, spinach, etc. You end up very full from very healthy food.

I agree so much with you, and most people are ignorant about this.

I know sick people who are skinny. Overweight is a symptom, not a problem.

Overweight is not just a symptom. The extra baggage itself is actually dangerous for your heart and other vital organs. Especially if you weight is in your belly.

Eat beans and walk around with a stomachache 24/7.

Excess visceral fat (which is what men tend to have), can cause real health problems.

Diets just don't work. Never have and never will.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Firstly, it's not bean diet. I only mentioned beans as an example of a a high nutrient food. That doesn't mean you need to eat beans for three meals a day!
Secondly, after the first 4-5 days your body will get used to eating more legumes and it won't bother you. I suggest you read the book before you outright dismiss it due to a completely unfounded fear of a stomach-ache.
Most people have A LOT to learn about what it means to eat healthy. Once you educate yourself, you'll find that many things you think are true about eating healthy are actually silly myths.

Why would someone want to eat six times a day?

Disagree.

You are correct on the point that you can't eat HOW MUCH fat you want but full fat meals are not a problem at all. Beans is to much carbs, carbs is a killer this days, again its not about the caloreis it's about the carbs. I have no idea about your book but I know probably 20 people that changed their diet from eating beans, baked potatoes, cereal, and the silly Pyramid diets and changed to my diet and All of the sudden, There lipid panel, blood pressure, sugar cleared out.

Can you explain me why the Grape juice bottels have The symbol of the American Heart Association, I just cry everytime I see it, This brings heart attack this days!! the Government is driving us crazy, Heart attack raises every year and the Government still doesn't agree that they are wrong with their stupid pyramid idea. Again try it your self like me. I put my 80 year old grand mother on this diet, first she Called I'm crazy everything that the doctor says its a killer I'm telling her to eat it, to make it short She always had to take Medication for her cholesterol, after I made her eat the skin of the chicken, red mild, full fat Cheese. and we cut out the OFFICIAL healthy oat meal and rice cake, stopped all the juices that are full with carbs, yes, including grape juice even it haves the symble of the Associations. SHE IS OFF HER Cholesterol medications and her lipid panel is good once again after 30 years.

Its all about how many calories come in vs how many go out.
If you take in more than you burn, you are fat. Less, you skinny.
Diets are a scam. Just stop eating so many calories, that's all there is to it.

You gotta work on both sides of the equation, side by side with limiting calorie intake you have to increase your calorie output.

The equation is more like this:
calories in = calories out + storage

From the respectful American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

Results: During 5–23 y of follow-up of 347,747 subjects, 11,006 developed CHD or stroke. Intake of saturated fat was not associated with an increased risk of CHD, stroke, or CVD. The pooled relative risk estimates that compared extreme quantiles of saturated fat intake were 1.07 (95% CI: 0.96, 1.19; P = 0.22) for CHD, 0.81 (95% CI: 0.62, 1.05; P = 0.11) for stroke, and 1.00 (95% CI: 0.89, 1.11; P = 0.95) for CVD. Consideration of age, sex, and study quality did not change the results.
