I used an Elph for all of my digital pictures from 2002 until July of 2013 when SF convinced me to start paying more than $100 for my cameras.
All of my TRs until Banff were with Elph pictures. Kauai, Maldives, Paris, Sydney, you name it, go ahead and look.

Think before you accuse, there's probably a good reason I post the Elph, and not just because of the name.

Love this thread I have this all the time when people ask me about a cheap laptop or desktop or other computer products. We cater to a specific demographic of people and they mostly share specific likes and dislikes. I can post an amazing deal for a Dell 30" $3000 monitor for $2200 or a $300 graphics card for $200 and it can be a smoking hot deal but no-one here would buy it, whereas if I post a laptop that sells for $350 for for $275 and it will fly like hotcakes.
This is a one of a kind site that floats between 2 or more very specific sites. Deal sites cater to the buyers because thats how they make money. If you think for a second that slickdeals will post a deal that isn't catering to its audience you are very mistaken. This really is a business just like any other site, even though the helping part of DDF still remains the deals will generally be ones that are popular or lucrative.

People love cheap Elph deals, therefore I post them. 
After doing this for 9 years I know exactly what sells and what doesn't.  And I have the analytics to tell me exactly what people are clicking on and what they're not.

If you're fed up or don't like the job I do then unsubscribe and leave.  I force nobody to keep reading.

I do wonder Dan why after 9 years you even bother to respond in such instances. Just intrigued...
